Behavior Supports

Supported Living Foundations offers Behavioral Support Services throughout the state of Oregon.  Behavior Supports are Medicaid-authorized interventions designed to assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, or challenging behaviors. The goal is to help each person achieve greater independence, stability, and quality of life within their homes and communities.

These services typically include:

  • Functional Assessments: Identifying the underlying causes of behaviors and determining effective support strategies.

  • Behavior Support Planning: Developing individualized plans that promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging ones.

  • Staff Training: Equipping caregivers and support staff with the skills to implement behavior plans effectively.

  • Ongoing Monitoring: Ensuring that interventions remain effective and are adjusted as needed over time.

Behavioral supports are essential to ensure individuals receive person-centered, evidence-based care that fosters inclusion and long-term success.
